Rosé 1975

Tasting notes

"Very dark pink colour. Almost sparkling on the palate. Exceptionally fruity, young nose with a strong suggestion of orange, strawberry, redcurrants, blackcurrants and plums. Originally, it was young and fruity, redolent of strawberry, on the palate. The superb nature of this wine is seriously expressed in the initial fleshy, rapidly-conveyed length on the palate." The 1975 Harvest

Weather conditions were good throughout the year. As a result of a cold spring, budbreak was extremely late, but flowering took place under near-perfect conditions. The summer was hot and sunny, punctuated by a few storms in August. Harvesting began on September 29 with good weather, which deteriorated rapidly.
