Rosé 1978

The wine is powerful, concentrated and fragrant, showcasing surprising finitions: the notes of apricot and mango mingle with the ones of praline and cereals. The structure is linear, close to austerity. The texture is silky and seamless dispite the high acidity which is so typical of this unique Vintage.

The 1978 Harvest

Harvesting did not begin until October 9 for the Pinot Noir and October 11 for the Chardonnay because of climatic conditions and produced a very low yield. The grapes had to undergo very strict selection.
