Vintage 1955

Tasting notes

"Very deep and rich, textured and well-rounded wine. This has the greatest balance of any Dom Pérignon I have ever had, and while it has the same hallmarks as the 49, it doesn’t have them in quite the quantity, but the balance is otherwise unmatched. It is certainly one of my favorite Dom Pérignons to drink and is definitely the best of the 50’s and remarkably consistent." The 1955 Harvest

Harvesting only started at the beginning of October in most areas, and quantities were significantly higher than forecast.
